Journey On. Never Yield. is The J.O.N.Y. Project’s adventure and experience initiative — created to help young people and families find connection, confidence, belonging, and meaningful moments through the outdoors, travel, recreation, and new experiences. Inspired by Jony’s love of adventure and the world around him, the initiative is a reminder that even when life feels impossibly heavy, there can still be another trail to walk, another place to discover, another memory to make, and another reason to keep going.

WHY JOURNEY ON. NEVER YIELD.?

Jony loved getting out into the world — the ocean, camping, traveling, exploring, and the freedom that came with being somewhere new. Those experiences were more than just things he enjoyed. They were moments of connection, perspective, laughter, and belonging. Journey On. Never Yield. was created to help make more of those moments possible for young people and families who may be carrying grief, struggling emotionally, facing financial barriers, or simply needing something positive to look forward to.

WHAT A JOURNEY CAN LOOK LIKE

A journey does not have to mean traveling far from home. It can be a first camping trip, a day on the water, tickets to an experience a family could not otherwise afford, a new outdoor activity, a weekend adventure, or simply the chance to step outside of everyday stress and make a memory together. Through Journey On. Never Yield., TJP aims to create and support experiences that give young people something to anticipate, something to discover, and something meaningful to carry home with them.

WHO THESE JOURNEYS ARE FOR

Journey On. Never Yield. is intended for young people and families who could benefit from connection, encouragement, adventure, and something positive to look forward to. That may include youth navigating grief or emotional challenges, families facing financial barriers, young people who need a stronger sense of belonging, or those who simply deserve the chance to experience something meaningful that might otherwise be out of reach.

HOW TJP CAN HELP

Support through Journey On. Never Yield. may include helping cover the cost of admission, transportation, equipment, outdoor activities, camps, day trips, family experiences, or other opportunities that give a young person or family the chance to reconnect, recharge, and make a meaningful memory together.

MORE THAN AN EXPERIENCE

The goal is not simply to provide a ticket, trip, or activity. It is to create moments that help young people feel connected to life, to the people around them, and to what may still be ahead. A meaningful experience can build confidence, open a new interest, strengthen a relationship, interrupt isolation, or simply give someone a day they will remember for the right reasons.
