A TJP connection initiative In development
HOLD ON FOR
77 MORE™
77 seconds. 7 words. One connection.
You don’t have to explain everything before asking for connection.
77 is a reminder to reach out now. You do not need to wait 77 seconds to get help.
Seven words to reach out
“I need you with me right now.”
Say it. Text it. You can ask for someone to be with you while you reach support.
The idea we’re developing
Your 77 starts with connection.
Start with one. Let it grow with you. There’s no requirement to find 77 people or 77 reasons.
01 · PEOPLE YOU CAN REACH
Find Your Core
Who can you reach first?
Choose a few safe, supportive people you can actually reach. Include a trusted adult and backup contacts. If someone cannot answer, reach another support.
02 · YOUR MAP BACK TO CONNECTION
Build Your 77 Circle
Who, what, and where helps you feel connected?
People, places, pets, music, routines, activities, and spaces that help you feel more like yourself. When safety is a concern, reach a trusted adult or professional support.
03 · BIG HOPES. SMALL JOYS.
Find Your 77 Reasons
Start with one. Add another when you find it.
Things you still want to experience, love, discover, finish, or become. Big hopes and small everyday joys both count. You do not have to name 77.
04 · LET IT CHANGE WITH YOU
Keep Your 77 Current
Your life changes. Your 77 can change too.
Friendships, relationships, teams, and routines change. Refresh your contacts and backups. People can move into or out of your circle. Choose supports that feel safe and supportive now.
The connection goes both ways
Be Someone’s 77™
“I’m here. I’m staying. Let’s get help.”
Listen. Take them seriously. Help connect them with a trusted adult or professional support. You do not have to solve everything yourself. Don’t promise secrecy when someone’s safety is at risk.
